Following a death

Legal issues following a death can be quite complex, particularly where probate is required (an application for a right to deal with a deceased person's affairs)

This is also a distressing time for those concerned and we therefore combine our expert advice with a thoughtful and compassionate approach.

Passing on your estate

Working closely with our Clients, we prepare Wills which give effect to your wishes whether you require a simple Will or a more complex one. Those can cover business as well as personal assets.

We also advise on how often a Will should be updated and circumstances where a review is advisable and will tell you if we think inheritance tax may effect your beneficaries. For advice on all of these issues please contact Carolyn Lilley.

Our Probate and Wills services include:

  • Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection orders
  • New Wills and Will revisions
  • Trusts
  • Estate administration
  • Advice for Older Clients
